In creating this website, I looked at a LOT of other websites to learn just what is possible at the moment. One that really stood out to me was the “portfolio” site of digital designer Samuel Day.
It begins with the title “Inside the Mind of Samuel Day” and with the aid of your scroller, takes you on an animated journey through his brain. It’s a good/bad dreamworld, animated with cartoon characters, through a subtle lens of white noise that makes it all seem distant and melancholy.
It’s a simple and quick trip. Clever and inspired. Check it out.
