I’ve been proselytizing this series since I first chanced upon it during a Netflix scroll. In each episode it features a single artist who is working in the world of design. This varies from typography to shoe design, architecture to bio-design. It achieves what series like this often try to do, which is take you a little bit into the mind of the designer to give some indication of how they might see the world differently. in some ways, the episode feel like a collaboration with the artist to come up with a way to get at it.
This first episode features illustrator Christoph Niemann, who’s works are famous most notably seen as covers for the New Yorker.
