Cry

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Alvin Ailey’s ‘Cry,’ Ailey All Access presents a newly filmed version featuring Ailey company member Jacqueline Green. Mr. Ailey choreographed ‘Cry’ on his muse Judith Jamison and presented it to his mother for her birthday. He dedicated the piece to “all Black women everywhere–especially our mothers.”
